We were very lucky to be chosen to hold a workshop with Dale Treadwell of Natually Wild. Naturally Wild provides environmental educational services to schools, community youth groups and shows and exhibitions.  The aim of Naturally Wild is to educate in a fun and informative way which will capture the imagination of both old and young alike.  You can also see Dale on RTE Junior with ‘Albie the Why Guy’.

Dale spent the day with us and as well as spending time in the classroom telling us about our natural flora and fauna we also went exploring to find out more about our local environment.

The children from the senior room took part in a Gaelic Football Blitz in Dungloe before Easter – they all played really well and enjoyed their day, despite the cold!

The children from 3rd and 4th class enjoyed an indoor Soccer Blitz in the Rosses Community School.

As part of Wainfest 2017, the children from the senior room attended Inky Fingers Creative Writing Workshop in Leabharlann Pobail na Rossan. They spent a morning tapping into their creativity and writing their own stories with the help of Kathy Donaghy.

Bhí muid iontach bróduil as an grúpa a chuaigh go dtí Ionad Teampaill Chróine le gairid chun pairt a glacadh ins an ceoilchoirm leis An Pleanáil Teanga a chur chun cinn. Chan siad Mamma Mia as Gaeilge agus bhain siad an sult as an léiriú. Go raibh míle maith agaibh go leir.
