Well done to Eva & Cormac on receiving their Student of the Month awards for February. Great work you two!

We had our annual celebration with our parents and grandparents as part of Catholic Schools Week on Friday 31st of January. We all gathered together to make St. Bridget’s crosses and everyone enjoyed a cup of tea and a chat once the crosses had been blessed by Fr. Pat. The children also presented their grandparents with projects and pictures that they had made for them. This has become one of our favourite days of the school year and it’s always lovely to catch up with people from the extended school family. See our gallery page for more photographs.

Everyone in Scoil Mhuire Belcruit is extremely proud of these two superstars.

Ruby was presented with the Donegal Sports Star Award for Gymnastics at the recent award ceremony in Letterkenny. Ruby shows great determination and dedication to her sport and it was great to see her hard work being rewarded. Maith thú Ruby.

Odhrán has also been training very hard and as a result he has added some more medals to his growing collection. He won a silver medal at the Ulster Indoor Athletics competition in Abbotstown and he was part of a team that won GOLD at the All Ireland Cross Country event in Wicklow. Well done Odhrán. Tá muid iontach bróduil asat.
