Even though we could not attend the Credit Union Quiz in it’s traditional format this year we still had great fun by joining in via the internet. There was an online quiz for individuals to try to reach top of the leader board and on Friday 14th of May we had a class quiz by tuning into Fergal D’Arcy as he acted as quizmaster. We would like to say a huge thank you to our local branch, The Rosses Credit Union, for the wonderful goodie bags they sent us for taking part. Go raibh míle maith agaibh.

Greenfingers
Amber was busy at work planting some seeds this week. She planted basil and cress. We can’t wait to see how the seeds grow. If we are lucky we might get to use some of them before the summer holidays. Watch this space!

Art Exhibition Update
We have added lots of new pictures to our Virtual Art Exhibition. The school is looking really bright and colourful.
What happens when we eat..
Our body needs food to provide it with energy, vitamins, and minerals. However, in order use food, we must first break it down into substances that the various organs and cells in our body can use. This is the job of our digestive system. The digestive system acts in stages to digest our food and the students in the senior room have been learning about these different stages. Here are the fantastic posters that they have produced to illustrate what happens to the food that we eat.
