Five Gold Rings – Our Christmas Show 2019

After weeks of learning lines, new songs and even some dances we were ready to entertain a packed hall on Thursday 19th of December. The musical play based on the song ‘The Twelve Days of Christmas’, ‘Five Gold Rings’ showcased the fantastic talent within our school. Everybody in the school played their part in the show and we definitely have some stars in the making among us.

Gaeilge 24

Glac muid pairt in Gaeilge 24 i mbliana – Is dúshlán é seo i gcomhair le Conradh na Gaeilge leis an aidhm Gaeilge amháin a labhairt ar feadh 24 uair a chloig.

The aim of this challenge is to encourage young people to try speak Irish non stop for one whole day: 24 hours: at home, at school, in shops and businesses, around the town, in sports clubs and with friends!

We had a concert where all the children performed songs and poems in Irish and also had a quiz and some ceilí dancing.

Bhain achan duine an sult as an lá agus rinne siad iarracht mór an Ghaeilge a labhairt. Tá feabhas iontach tagtha ar caighdeán na Gaeilge sa scoil agus tá sé soiléir go bhfuil suim ag na paisti ann.
